In collaboration with Wing On Travel Service, we organized a cultural and historical exploration tour for 131 Hong Kong students.
The five-day programme included visits to must-see attractions such as Gyeongbokgung Palace and Bukchon Hanok Village. To deepen students’ understanding of modern Korean history, we arranged a visit to the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ), where students reflected on the importance of peace through firsthand learning.
In terms of cultural exchange, we partnered with Yonsei University, one of Korea's prestigious SKY universities, where Hong Kong students toured the historic campus guided by Yonsei students and exchanged gifts at the end of the visit.Korea, the birthplace of Taekwondo, has a deep-rooted Taekwondo spirit and culture. We arranged a Taekwondo class at Yong-In University, the first university in the world to establish a Taekwondo department. Led by experienced professors and top coaches, and highlighted by performances from local students, the programme gave participants a real taste of Korea’s vibrant sports culture.
To conclude the programme, students were divided into four groups to independently explore different urban routes, from bustling city centers and serene tree-lined paths to dense clusters of traditional Hanok houses, allowing them to experience the unique charm of Korea firsthand.
