We had the honor of organizing a Chinese orchestra exchange tour to Taipei for a group of elite schools from Hong Kong, with the primary aim of promoting cultural exchange through traditional Chinese music. During the visit, students engaged in intensive rehearsals and collaboration with local orchestras in Taipei. The highlight of the trip was a joint Chinese orchestra performance at the historic Taipei Zhongshan Hall, where the students showcased their musical talents and collaborated seamlessly with local musicians. Beyond enhancing their performance skills, students also experienced firsthand the unique charm of music that transcends borders and deepens cultural understanding. In addition to musical activities, we specially arranged a joint luncheon for students and teachers from both Hong Kong and Taiwan, fostering closer bonds and meaningful interactions. The tour successfully promoted cultural exchange through traditional Chinese music, offering students an unforgettable and enriching experience. We look forward to creating more such opportunities to further the beauty of Chinese music.
